ISUOG is excited to announce the imminent launch of its Mongolia adventure, ISUOG’s first Outreach project in Asia! The team will begin its journey to Ulaanbaatar tomorrow for a bright and early start on Monday 24 September at local partners National Center for Maternal and Child Health (NCMCH), where they will be training a group of 18 physicians from NCMCH and 11 other hospitals in ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology.
The team will be led by Dr Philippe Jeanty who will be supported by Dr Iryna Tsihanenka and Prof Jong Kwan Jun (President of KSUOG), Prof Kwang Jun Kim, Prof Moon-Young Kim and Prof Ja-Young Kwon from project partners Korean Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (KSUOG).
Mr Mike Kammermeier of Samsung Medison will also be joining the trip. We are very grateful to Samsung Medison who will be donating 3 systems and loaning a further 2 systems to the training.
Ms Manna Kamio Badiella, from the ISUOG home office in London, will also be joining the group to help support the important work of the trainers.
